About the Author-
MOLLY BANG has written and illustrated more than 20 books for young readers. Her most recent book, Common Ground: The Water, Earth, and Air We Share (1997), won the prestigious Giverny Book Award as the best children's science picture book published in the past five years. Her previous book Goose was a School Library Journal Best Book of 1996 and a Horn Book Fanfare Selection.
